UKCA
The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most goods which previously required the CE marking, known as ‘new approach’ goods.1 Therefore UKCA marking in the future will be required for exports to Great Britain.
- Until 31.12.2022, products can be exported to the UK without a UKCA marking. From 01.01.2023, products/packaging units or accompanying documents traded in the UK must bear the UKCA marking and be declared compliant with applicable UK directives by UK Declaration of Conformity.
- It also applies: After 31.12.2022, products imported into the UK must bear the UKCA marking on the product/type plate itself.
Pfannenberg will have implemented these requirements for all affected products by these respective dates and will declare conformity in accordance with the applicable directives. Where available, UKCA declarations of conformity can be found on the relevant product pages.
