  • Plan now for an in-time switch to compliant refrigerants.
    Strict GWP limits will apply to cooling units and chillers from 2027, and the use of F-gases will be banned in the EU from 2032. Switching now will avoid project redesigns later on.

  • For safety-related indoor applications, we recommend the use of non-flammable refrigerants (A1 / R513A).The use of flammable refrigerants (A2L, A3) requires a comprehensive risk analysis, including ventilation assessment, identification of ignition sources, and implementation of safety zones.
